QUMBU-A six-year reign of terror perpetrated by taxi owner Mzoxolo Zozi has finally been brought to justice.
Zozi from Ngwemnyama village in Qumbu was sentenced to life imprisonment plus 175 years on the 12th of February for his crimes that include the rape of 11 women, including a 14-year-old girl.
The heinous acts occurred in Tsolo, Qumbu, Libode, Mthatha and KwaBhaca over a six-year period but this vile predator’s legacy of terror extends beyond the Eastern Cape, with cases pending in three other provinces.
The discovery of Zozi’s pending cases in KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape and North West provinces shed further light on the scope of his depravity and his willingness to travel far and wide to satisfy his sick desires.
