Activist Pamela Mabini Murderd in Gqeberha

GQEBERHA- The respected community activist Pamela Mabini was ruthlessly gunned down outside her home in kwaZakhele, Gqeberha on March 7th, 2025.

Pamela, a 46-year-old founder of the Maro Foundation, known for her unwavering support for the homeless and abandoned children, was discovered lifeless in her white Chevrolet bakkie, bearing multiple gunshot wounds.

The cruel attack took place right by her residence.

Records from the Provincial South African Police Services reveal that this wasn’t the first time Mabini had faced danger, having narrowly escaped an earlier assault in 2018.

Renowned for her fearless advocacy for survivors of gender-based violence and human trafficking, Pamela Mabini was hailed as a true champion of justice.

Her dedication, especially in cases like that of Pastor Timothy Omotoso, had left a lasting impact on many.
