The deadline for entries to the 32nd edition of the South African Music Awards, originally set for 31 January 2026, has been extended to 6 February 2026.
“We did not want to leave anyone behind,” said Nhlanhla Sibisi, RiSA CEO. “Many musicians and independent labels enjoyed a runaway festive season and requests for more time came flooding in, and RiSA agreed to the extension.”
Entries eligible for a #SAMA32 consideration in over 30 genre categories, should have been released between 1 February 2025 and 31 January 2026.
