NO SHOES, NO STOPPING – ONKE SITYWAYI KEEPS WALKING THROUGH PORT ALFRED

PORT ALFRED- Youth advocate and community builder Onke Sitywayi is pressing on with his inspiring 27-day walk from Mossel Bay to Dutywa even without his shoes.

Now on Day 17 of the journey, Sitywayi arrived in Port Alfred after a minor setback: he accidentally left his walking shoes behind at Nature’s View the previous day. But his spirits remain high.

“I’m hoping my shoes will still be found, but the walk goes on,” he said, unwavering in his commitment with an exclusive interview with Eastern Cape Daily News.

Sitywayi’s mission highlights youth empowerment and community unity across the Garden Route and Eastern Cape.
