Mzukisi Ndamase, a 41 year-old suspect that is alleged to be the mastermind behind the Lusikisiki massacre appeared briefly in the Lusikisiki Magistrate’s Court on the 31st of October 2024.
Ndamase recently conducted his own defense after abandoning his bail application. The accused, now serving a life sentence at Bhongweni C-Max prison, Kokstad in KZN for murder and robbery, faces 18 counts of murder, 3 counts of illegal possession of firearm and 1 count of illegal possession of unlicensed ammunition.
All suspects in connection with the mass murder of eighteen people at Ngobozana Village in Lusikisiki will appear on the 26 of November 2024.
