JUST FOR QHAWE- SAY NO TO HOMOPHOBIA

PORT ST JOHNS- A young and openly gay Qhawe Ndabeni was brutally attacked by a group of friends in a brutal act of violence in Port St Johns.

The perpetrators, driven by hate and bigotry, targeted Qhawe because of his sexuality, spreading malicious rumors about him teaching their children “imikhuba yobu gay”.

The shocking assault unfolded after Qhawe had a confrontation with an individual at a local hangout, where he faced uncomfortable comments about his identity.

In a disturbing turn of events, the situation escalated into physical violence when he stood up for himself, only to be outnumbered by the assailant’s friends.

Terrifyingly, the attackers proceeded to abduct Qhawe, threatening his life and instilling fear as they threw him out of a moving vehicle.
